One Small Detail

Can peace come from within Israel?

When Israel waged war on Gaza in 2021, I wrote that a just peace could not come from inside Israel. Since then, some have called my take arrogant and condescending toward the Israeli left. So I want to explain, because I feel very connected to Israel's anti-occupation left

Israel is a fragmented society that no longer knows itself

In the streets of Tel Aviv, Gaza does not exist. Gaza does not exist on TV either: for the past month, the main TV channels have been constantly running the images of October 7. But nothing is being shown of what came afterwards.
