@wafflesies@infosec.exchange the design philosophy of the Apple computer was to be a thing you just whipped out of a box and turned on, so a lot of console folks expect the game to "just work" when they get it. Growing up PC gaming, sometimes i'd spend who knows how long getting a game to work (I googled OpenGL a lot back then 😅). But on that front, it's all kind of evened out, with launching and buying games on console is pretty similar as on PC
