RE: https://mastodon.social/@mera1991/116980613128627305 ‼️‼️For days I've been asking for $50 to buy food for my children, but there's been no progress. Donations stopped 15 days ago, and without your support, I can't feed my hungry children. Please, please stand by me; my situation is dire. 😞😞😞😭😭Tired and frustrated, with no other option but to ask for help—even that's exhausting. 😞😞😞😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔 #Madtodon #freepalestine #mutualaid #MutualAidRequest #MutualAidBoost #HelpFolkslive @mutualaid@fedigroups.social #helpsky #us #food #Humanity #HelpUsSurvive #gaza #gazaverified

Today my son Abdullah was diagnosed with malnutrition. I went to the clinic hoping he could get nutritional supplements, but they told me they are only given to children from one month to five years old, and Abdullah, who is seven, is not eligible. They only gave him vitamin drops and insisted that what he needs is a healthy, nutrient-rich diet, which is unfortunately beyond my means. #Gaza #Palestine #gazaverified #mastodon #help #famine #Humanity #SaveChildren #mutualaid #MutualAidRequest

I'm rating today a solid 3/10 but here are #3GoodThings:

  • I went into a local bookshop and bought a copy of The Little Prince in Arabic. Fuck knows how we found it in that shop but I went looking for it and I have yet another language to add to my collection of books!

  • Dessert was chocolatey heaven this evening.

  • I picked up a book from the free book swap and I'm really enjoying it. It's Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz.

Palm Oil Free Crisps, Snacks, Convenience Foods Palm Oil Detectives

Here are some palm oil free convenience food and snack brands that DO NOT use rainforest-destroying palm oil. If you are ever in doubt look for the prefixes: LAUR, STEAR, GYLC and PALM in the ingredients list on packaging – this is most likely palm oil. Another tip is to shop for locally produced products instead of mass-produced convenience foods. Take action for your health and for wildlife when you go #PalmOilFree and #BoycottPalmOil #Boycott4Wildlife The biggest lie you were never told: "Su
