#fedicat

latest #fedicat build supports mastodon api compatibility added in #catodon 26.10: lists, featured (endorsed) accounts, filters, trending links, familiar followers, alt text for avatars/headers (although that last one is actually mastodon api compatibility with gotosocial)

even for platforms that #fedicat doesn’t support you can view the instance info as long as it has a nodeinfo

fixing #fedicat maps for #fedihood events

added #fedihood instance-hosted translation to #fedicat, behaves similar as #mastodon translation but with the option of selecting the source language if the post language setting is incorrect (common occurrence)

you can view your #NeoDB collections in #fedicat

#fedicat recognizes #fedihood now, only complication was handling a collision between the fedihood and #pixelfed place field in posts

just verifying #fedicat can see #cookifed

#fedicat tip, the long press profile menu has an option to post to that account, though now I’m thinking maybe the visibility should default to direct

trying out the @FediverseSymbol@typo.social in the #fedicat avatar library

@amd #fedicat worked with #snac last time I tested, but I Iet my test instance expire a few months ago

if you hide the featured tab in #mastodon 4.6 #fedicat will respect that setting and not show featured tags/posts/accounts/collections on your profile

#pixelfed login is working again in the latest #fedicat testflight build, it was probably broken for three months (I'm beginning to suspect I don't have any pixelfed users)

Pika is having a very relaxing #caturday and I imagine that he wishes the same to all of you. #cat #catsOfMastodon #adoptDontShop #fediCat

slight improvement to the #NeoDB experience on #fedicat, tapping on the media graphic navigates to the catalog entry

uploading a fix for #fedicat crashing on #fedimeteo posts, the Textual renderer breaks on large markdown, workaround is fall back to EmojiText renderer

adding #SiliconBeest support to #fedicat

fun #fedicat feature, adding syntax highlighting (provided by the Textual renderer) for #gotosocial code blocks that specify a language
