"Between 2000 and 2023, between zero and 17 cases of human plague were reported in the U.S. each year, according to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."
Questions about whether Russia's "up to something" might be valid, but the existence of plague alone isn't much to go on.
