@mnl@hachyderm.io This is true. I don't see software engineering as just 'managing an AI'. I think that in the past, I architected a system; I knew what database to use, what platform, and how many services there should be and how they should communicate with each other, caching strategies, things like that. And I also wrote the code so progress was, not slow, but it went at speed 1. That's fine because 1 was all there was. That was normal speed.
Now with AI the software can go at speed 7, which is fine because that means I no longer need to spend so much time on the coding part. I can just be, as a whole, more productive because I can spend more time on the architecture, more time thinking about those caching strategies or the most efficient ways for the services to talk to each other.
