So UK children will be taught how to circumvent age verification? That’s at least a good motivator.

Yeah, as someone who knows about log scales but does not use them regularly, it took me a few seconds to recognize them.. my first reaction was “That much - that can’t be true!”.

Great party with a band that constantly swaps instruments. And a great guest.
Starts with 3 on E and ends with Dean Town.

I remember Microsoft successfully lobbying to keep known faulty behavior like handling the year 1900 as a leap year in the OOXML standard.
So that idea is not that far off for me.

It should be flagged as AI Slop - on screen, mandated by law.
Then they can re-define what that means by delivering correct information. And in 5 years we will use #AISlop as an indicator of high quality content.

It’s I for nostalgia reasons. But I like emojis in code and the last one is just cool.
I demand equal treatment for all Unicode!
To be honest, there should be dedicated Unicode characters for code.
(now everybody should be aware that I’m not a programmer myself)

I believe it would happen if …
a) the number of cakes produced has a minimal impact on their costs
b) the following part was also practically free of cost

That’s how empires fall. But it’s also how careers end. As an individual, you can hope it happens late enough that it doesn’t matter. As a company, you have to take the hit and course correct immediately.

I learned it the hard way.
It was actually the first time I installed Linux around 89 / 90 and closing the Linux terminal wasn’t an option cause it didn’t have a GUI. I had to turn off my computer.
