@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems oh yeah I literally cannot read that page at all, firefox just keeps halting with tls erors
Replying to
@fluffykittycat@furry.engineer @cwebber@social.coop fucking correct. and as it becoems more and more of a common sense thing, parents and people in power scream ever louder at the concept that they might have to start having, not rights, but responsibilities

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space that is evil. then again, it's Q, that man is a very specific demonstration of blind developer style that I wish I could better describe without unfairly insulting other blind devs but it's a uniquely blind failure mode I feel like
Replying to
@aires@tiggi.es @fluffykittycat@furry.engineer @cwebber@social.coop it's not just that, it's that their kid might do better than them. might change the world and make the world they (the parent) greww up in not exist anymore. and they hate that idea
Replying to
@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space heeey thing for you, any chance Paperback could get support to read QRD files? they're a thing Q-Read does when you open a document, it converts the thing to an SQLite database for some reason
Replying to
@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space mostly to recover QRD files and turn them back into regular books
Replying to
@fluffykittycat@furry.engineer @cwebber@social.coop better to do that than to let their kids have rights

@parismarx@mastodon.online I feel like my 58-contianer self-hosted mess is probably a really extreme example of that?
