Everybody has an opinion on a bike shed.
Nobody does on a car parking.
This is the problem here, they use that as a populist lever. At best this is misguided. At worst this is just more of motordom brainwashed whatever.

@_elena@mastodon.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu Excellent point. A lot of institutions around Europe could *at least* have a presence, even if minimal on Mastodon with the icon on their website. Get themselves ready when the stinky ship finally completely sinks.
I mean, what are they waiting for exactly?
What would it take?

Last week, I wrote to all my online subscriptions. I took the time to check if they were still active on X, or if they had left an X logo on their website. And I unsubscribed if I didn't get a clear reply.
I also wrote to my politicians, local and national.

@jplebreton@mastodon.social Great #ToDo list. Anything is possible.
May I suggest also to include something like "greater respect for other species living on this planet"?

@jwildeboer@social.wildeboer.net First point, I disagree: I'm a modest programmer and I learn from AI code when I review it. Quite a good bit in fact.
Second point is spot on: coding was never very "humanizing" to begin with, but this is a step further along the dehumanization process. The sense of ownership, of caring, is defining of humanity.

@kim_harding@mastodon.scot some people argue it's not extinction, it's extermination.
The difference being: it's deliberate, and it's only a few people who made the decision.

"Paris has closed more than 100 streets to motor vehicles, tripled parking fees for SUVs, removed roughly 50,000 parking spots, and constructed more than 1,300 kilometers of bike lanes since Mayor Anne Hidalgo took office in 2014.
Those changes have contributed to a 40% decline in air pollution, according to city officials."

that's another aspect I don't fully understand : weights and data are not 'new' (although they are new to me), but the seed (aka the prompt) can be.
So the prompt answer can be new too?
