I may have done a bad thing.
I have added coca cola to iced black coffee.
I think it's drinkable, maybe even good!

I would usually turn to Hanlon's razor:
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
However in Trumps case it is generally both malice and stupidity which requires it's own special adage.

Makin' stuff.
Using an old TV ariel, nice light alloy box section to make a solar panel frame. Gonna have to bolt it down ok the wind will blow it from here to the next town.
I left my glasses in the other room and I can sense the measurement tolerances are creeping

I'm still not very clear as to how the Chinese language can be efficiently used via a keyboard but for sure it isn't using this keyboard!

It's always kinda mind-blowing that someone slightly younger than myself created a "small project" that ended up being just a bit more successful than that yet the vast majority of it's users (smart or other electronic devices) are completely oblivious to what #Linux is or who is Linus Torvalds.

Especially as they can just lock their Microsoft/Google accounts if these individuals don't comply.
Yet more fuel for the #DigitalSoverignty #DigitalAutonomy push to cut dependency on Trump backing US tech.

Scott would get my vote for presidency, and I'm not even a US citizen!
TBF it would be hard to find anyone worse on this planet who could be president.

The Post Apocalyptic Inventor was in Aus not that long ago and would surely have some contacts who would be interested (TPAI is in Germany alas but would be there in a heartbeat if he could I'm sure!)

It seems the theory about a fireplace annexing was correct from the photo inside the property (see photo gallery of the property "Green Shutters)

A pretty easy #OSINT challenge to be fair, plus I don't claim to remember passing this particular building, it just likely as it's on the only main road (which is basically what Long Melford is!)

Dogs back from escaping to go hunting the second time this week, this time escaping from the closed porch, with harness and lead tied to fixing! Gonna need a cage to keep these two in!

So for now, the days of buying small cheap items off AliExpress and the like are now over as the new EU import tariff comes into effect. Here in Spain it will mean a 3€ charge _per item_ within any package meaning that buying anything cheap directly from China is no longer such an affordable option. So now we have to buy the same (crap mostly) items at inflated costs from EU based suppliers.
AliExpress (and the like) already have EU warehouses so whether this will really have the desired result or not is doubtful...

So at work after several failed dev onboardings (reasons ranging from not enough money to fake dev contracting out the work etc..) we now have 2 non dev/tech employees submitting applications "they" developed with AI and the boss is lapping it up like a puppy with a bowl of cream....
The end is nigh

Worse than our CEO doing over an hour of review _every day_ in person , much of it the same crap every day?!
I'd much rather he had an AI do this and I would happily send my AI agent to the meeting in my place to report back on anything actually relevant and we can all get on with doing something useful instead...

When you hear two people having a "conversation" but both talking at the same time, are they really conversing or just both running their mouths while pretending they are actually listening/interested in what the other person is saying?

I use a password (a login that pw manager cannot handle) that I have "muscle memory" type for me but recently I kept getting it wrong and for some reason one letter has changed position/key in my memory for some reason and I cannot understand why! I do regularly swap keyboard layouts (ES layout to EN mapping) but the key places are the same on both....
Do I: Change the password to fit the new memory mapping or just set a new password ?

Depending on whether you are a heavy consumer of electricity or not (air conditioning, electric car, cooker etc) the electricity bills here are cheap enough to not feel fitting solar is an urgent matter, that said, for those that can (many live in flats here) it's a no-brainer and certainly on my shortlist of eco actions.
whether to ditch the gas cooker (and to lesser degree hot water boiler) is another matter...
