The USA was the sole UN member state to vote against a resolution calling for an International day of Hope.
Even Putin's Russia supported this resolution.
But hope is dead in official US policy, ostensibly due to DEI commitments.

My hope is that everybody rejects and pushes back against toxic and hypermasculinity, dominant patriarchal and power relations and strives for peace and gender equality. This is the only way humanity will be liberated from endless wars, sexual violence and gender injustice. All genders stand to benefit from more equal and harmonious relationships from micro to macro.

Melania Trump has the audacity to preside over a historic session on children in conflict at the UN while her husband and the US have been responsible for the slaughter of thousands of children in #Gaza and also just bombed a girls school in Iran killing over 150 children.
