URGENT. PLEASE BOOST FOR ME! As many of you know I'm recovering from recent surgeries and complications, and and also still dealing with after effects of three day migraine and a fibro flare. I'm unable to cook for myself currently, and have run out of easy meals to keep me going. Three good things today: Finally feeling like I've turned a corner after my recent surgeries, complications, fibro flare, and split from my system-mate husband. Still only have a couple of hours of energy before I need a rest and usually a nap, but I'm in less pain regarding kidneys, bladder and urethra, and that's big progress that I'm very grateful for! Managed to get the house vacuumed and washing done, so I feel like I'm managing a little better with the basic day to day stuff today. Discovering my girl/femme self more after working out I'm bigender. Okay, as a trans *man* I experience dysphoria sometimes, but I've never experienced dysphoria as a woman before, as I've never been a woman before(long story but the fact I am plural accounts for much of that). For additional context, I've recently discovered I'm bigender(trans man, and woman). In many ways this feels more closely aligned with trans women's experience than cis women's experience...so, my trans women fedi friends, what do *you* do when you feel dysphoric to feel better please? PLEASE BOOST FOR ME! It's spring in my corner of the world, and warming up quickly in the rush to summer. I rent my home, and while I have a portable air conditioner in the bedroom, in the high Aussie heat of summer of over 40C/104F, it's still far too hot in the rest of the house, and makes my disabilities and chronic illness worse. I have no aircon or fans in the rest of my tiny apartment, and with my disabilities and chronic illness, I could really use a fan this year, so I'm not shut in the bedroom constantly. I really need a 40cm, metal blade fan for it to be effective along with my usual cooling towel, cooling mat etc. I live under the poverty line, so this is out of reach for me. If you could help make it possible for me to get the fan I need, and help make spring and summer more bearable with disability and chronic health issues, it would be much appreciated. My goal is $99.95(cheapest one I can find and also free delivery to my door as I can't get to a store and cart one home due to disabilities). Today I took a more femme bag out with me when I went to run errands. It's not super femme, and can be worn as crossbody or over-shoulder or carried as a handbag. I needed something that I could make work with my usual masc style(although I'm slowly adding some more femme aspects to that too), and really wanted to attempt the "handbag" thing instead of carrying my wallet in my pants as I usually do as my guy self. I also wore some mascara. It was a success. Hooray for gender euphoria! I'm loving being bigender, and really enjoying being my woman/femme self right now. Life is short, and at 46 and with dodgy health and disability, I don't have time to waste. I'm having a fantastically girly day, pottering about gently after my medical appointments, and feeling grateful that I discovered I'm bigender and get to experience all of this now. For me, realising that I'm also a woman has felt like when I came out as a trans man in some ways-and it currently feels very much like another transition, in a sense. Because I'm also plural, there's been additional nuance and complexity around my discovery that I'm bigender, and that's okay too.
