Replying to

@futurebird the Queen’s Chambers or Logingham Palace? Her retinue, and the Royal Guard - sounds so familiar

“a symbol of exploration and a connection to nature” - so true, I love canoes. Last year we restored a 16’ Chestnut, probably made before 1974, maybe a cruiser?

Looking forward to some final coats of sleekness when weather warms up, then we’ll see how “alert to the stroke of the paddle”, haha wish us luck

Des milliers de lacs et de rivières invitent à l'aventure, et le canoë est le moyen idéal pour les découvrir. I don’t want to “make coastal sediments a persistent source of pollution” - ick eww https://phys.org/news/2026-03-rivers-tidal-currents-microfibers-oceans.html#google_vignette
