The Stichting Internet Archive congratulates the Swedish National Library on their work to improve Speech-to-Text using AI with their model KB-Whisper. Bravo! https://www.stichtinginternetarchive.nl/whispering-innovation-how-the-eus-legislative-framework-enables-ai-breakthrough-in-sweden/
KB-Whisper exemplifies AI’s potential to serve the public good. Bravo to the Swedish National Library! 👏
"More than 50,000 hours of TV, parliamentary speeches and dialects. This is what the training data for KB's new AI model looks like. KB-Whisper has learned a wide variety of Swedish and can quickly transcribe speech to text – which can contribute to both subtitles on TV and better searchability in the library's collections."
