@Nonilex@masto.ai One defense option: the defendant didn’t destroy any evidence *himself*, he allowed *them* to destroy the contents of his phone. When they chose to input a passcode acquired through interrogation, they should have known that there was a chance that data would be erased. (Not a lawyer, but this seems like a valid defense)

@MLE_online Yes! My Gen Z/Alpha nieces and daughter enjoy CDs, thrift store shopping, and live entertainment (concerts and theater performances). Sure, technology is a big part of how they interact with friends, but they also just like to hang out and do karaoke and board games.

@magicalgirlsabrina@mastodon.social Also a vegetarian here and I absolutely love Chipotle. I don’t do sofritas (vegetarian protein option), just beans and fajita veggies. Sure, it’s basically salad wrapped in a tortilla, but they do it well.
