I don’t have the mental capacity right now to put together a list, but one that I haven’t seen listed that would definitely be in my top 5 would be Star Control 2. The game has a lot of “really good…for its time” to it but it’s still one of my favorites.

Data Hoarder 💾 Fleet: More than 10 devices · More than 50 TB Motivation: Learning & experimenting, Privacy & data ownership, Fun / the hobby itself

But seriously what is the actual reason for the donation

What the everliving fuck were they still doing there

So far away that it takes an entire day to get the signal to it. The earth to the sun is 8 minutes. And somehow we can still talk to it. It’s amazing.

Some of the same hardware, yes. But also - the CPU/GPU in the iPhones are insane. Compared against a bunch of laptops in the price class from dell, HP, etc and the single-core performance is like 50% higher on the iPhone CPU in the macbook neo. I can't wait for more ARM CPUs that hit these specs for a reasonable price.

Why does CleanTechnica have a disclaimer saying its articles are for "entertainment only"?

I assure you that it's a them thing

Didn't read it. Not going to.

You're asking if someone else will do it for you, or...?

Good news! There are like 700 competing Burger places

Like other tests, you should retake the eye test until you pass. Then you win!

I had DOS 6.2 which blatantly stole stuff from Stacker, and Windows 3 which explicitly had code to make it seem like competitor DR DOS was unstable.

Maybe the nah was to the just software patents part

Don't think that's true. https://opto.ca/eye-health-library/reading-myths-debunked https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.org/hometown-health/speaking-of-health/eye-health-myths-and-facts https://news.uthscsa.edu/myth-or-fact-can-sitting-too-close-to-the-tv-hurt-your-eyes-will-wearing-glasses-weaken-your-eyes-test-your-knowledge/ I guess maybe "a few" could be true but that's probably true of anything, like ants damaging vision, and so glasses are a sign of having ants

Why would you not stop...?

thank you that is an important question

The vast majority of the costs are HW and infra I think they’re hoping that reaches more of a steady state

I suspect the person you replied to was also calling them out for not reading the article but nevertheless having very strong opinions about it

Nothing against Macs intended here, but why would anyone say that in this case? It'd be like an anti-fast food movement where someone suggests Burger King as an alternative to McDonald's. It wouldn't make any sense for the goal.

Well, yes.

Apocalypse?

Depends on the bribe amount (or lack of)

Thanks

What are 3 of your favorite? That aren't half life?

Why would you lie about that

So you just want to go online and shit on everyone I guess? No thanks

Oh, agreed. And other tech companies are 1000% counting on that being true.

Trolling

Oh I get it now

Was it?

This seems nonsensical to me. It's physically impossible for ARM competitors to match the performance of Apple ARM? Not to mention that we're talking about their lowest-specced CPU here and there are far more powerful ones.

Ah

I mean that's literally the goal so why wouldn't they

This is the one I instantly thought of

They’re generally drawing actual conversations that happened between the two authors. They are definitely not for everyone. Personally the character style drives me crazy. Mike went on some bender about how they weren’t stylized enough after comparing his work to another artist he really liked. Since then I think they look stupid and overly exaggerated. The (really rod at this point) Penny Arcade The Series gave a lot of insight, and I thought was really interesting. Still not for everyone.

We should not be surprised but we should be continually appalled. Do not normalize it.

Man Mario Odyssey really is my favorite Mario. With Super Mario World in second place.

There have been many votes on doing this. And it keeps getting stuck on “needing further study” or some shit.

Read the details about it

So far those are the ONLY other comments.

This is what happens when people don’t vote in primaries, or the primaries have only shitty candidates. If those people then didn’t vote blue then they’d have elected Republicans that would have voted for this anyway. And worse things.

I’ll have to try again. I played for like an hour and got interrupted. Then was never motivated to pick it back up again. Plus I thought the reviews were kind of on the meh side. The good news is that I don’t know ANYTHING about the plot, etc.

Huh, boomer bad amirite

It was the mid-2010s that he transitioned to the weird style

I wonder what percentage of people accused of cheating are actually cheaters
