My insurance company's pharmacy group called me and asked me to provide my birth date so that they could talk with me about my prescriptions. For security. THEY CALLED ME. And somehow they think this is a good security procedure. It was probably legit, but NO, I'm not going to support a process that expects their customers to engage in poor infosec practices.
I started the month actually heeding the reminder and giving my dogs their flee/tick/heartworm chews on time. So, as you can imagine, I'm feeling pretty good about myself today.

During the summer months, I love that I’m responsible for the gas bill, and he’s responsible for the electric. Winter…well, that’s a different story.

My #3dprintingwaste box arrived so I was finally able to sort out my overflowing wastebasket. I left a bunch of the #filamentpoop just because its harder to make sure the PLA and PETG ones are separated. While paying £54 for the privilege of #recycling my own waste initially seems like a lot it covers all the logistics returning the box as well. Hopefully I won't be filling them up that fast! Well, that’s one way to screw with elections at the 11th (9th) hour. The beauty of this Texas stay is that it could benefit Talarico, who likely has a better chance of unseating the republican candidate than Crockett. Manipulative ≠ smart.
I think I wouldn’t mind A-cast ads so much if they had more than 7 across all the different shows I subscribe to.
It just dawned on me that I am literally sitting in front of the TV, eating popcorn, watching the returns come in and the legal shenanigans in Texas.
Great episode of @macosken@mastodon.social today. But I disagree with the guest’s wholesale assessment of Starfleet Academy. I count s01ep04 among my favorite Star Trek episodes ever.

As Icelanders go to the polls today, I think I might be hearing a good part of the UK quietly crying.
I just recently joined Facebook exclusively to participate in some maker groups. I'm a little surprised, maybe put off, by how many people's profile pic include what I assume to be their spouse/partner/sigOther. Is this a thing? This strikes me as odd, particularly since my interest there is not social. Is this code for "I'm taken" or more like people putting their brand on their Facebook-faring partner so everyone knows to keep the f*** away???
