@isotopp Hilft halt nicht. Der Schaden ist schon angerichtet, weil der Paragraph während der Ermittlungen der Polizei mehr Befugnisse einräumt. Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft wird dafür nicht auf die Finger gehauen, wenn der Vorwurf vom Gericht im Anschluss verworfen wird. 😞

@wdormann Thank you. Blocking cldapi.dll using AppLocker works though that will break OneDrive and stuff like that.

@nyanbinary @wdormann It's the filtering in line 951 to 958. He scans for any windows update, iterates the collections and breaks after the first match. So sometimes it won't work depending on the order of the results. Probably should open an issue to fix the string he uses for choosing the update...

@wdormann @tiraniddo Iirc Aaron Margosis complained about Defender writing it's updates to user write-able directories years ago.
