If a recipe for "4 servings" of stir fried greens has multiple tablespoons of soy sauce in it put it down and never use a recipe by that food writer ever again.

I like this version because the alternates are at the end and don't mess up the album's sequence. Strangely missing from Apple Music
Here is what I want an """AI""" agent for: run around my computer and figure out how to turn off all the fucking activity badges.
Wut.

Maybe the weirdest thing about claude code and such is how an engine that just can understand flat text and has some good search heuristics is a much stronger tool for so many code manipulation tasks than all the static analysis and other tools with much more "rigorous" foundations that have been build over the past 50 years. "Code is just text" has a history of winning over smarter tool representations since Unix and emacs killed all the structure editors. Its victories continue.

The fact that Toshiko Akiyoshi could never get a record deal for her big band in the U.S. even though it was one of the best large ensemble bands ever and she is probably an A-1 Music Genius is just more proof that the record business is mostly run by dipshits.

@gabrielesvelto@mas.to the generic and context free way that "AI" is used even by technical people who should know better is infinitely irritating. these days "AI" is LLMs but just before that it was those deep learning neural nets and before that it was something even dumber.
