if you can, get on old oneplus6 phone somewhere, flash unofficial sailfishos port onto and experience it.. its really a shame that true transparency is missing from jolla... you know, its called marketing, pretty sure 75% of the new buyers will never daily drive it 🤷
i have several years experience daily driving ubports, mobian, postmarketos. so far, ubports on a nexus5 was by far the best experience!

if you use sdm845 phones, direct solar charging has some issues...
when there is a quick voltage drop, the charging driver stays on the lowest value...
but maybe you are the one fixing this annoying driver issue😉
