This is an elaborate shell game.
Rainbow + Kilauea
Wearing fingernails down until they’re near paper thin wasn’t something I thought of when I started pottery, but here we are.

This looks really nice
This morning around 3am Kilauea was glowing.

@wklj especially when i bought a nice little heat plate off amazon, with adjustable temperature, for $15, and it works with every mug I own

@daringfireball@mastodon.social The fact that the man is 88 and still chugging along is admirable and inspiring.

@joe@f.duriansoftware.com I've also been wondering about how something like the FOAF trust and relationships modules (https://www.perceive.net/schemas/20021119/trust/ https://perceive.net/schemas/20031015/relationship/ ) I made decades ago could fit into ActivityPub/Mastodon. I feel like this could solve so many of the social media issues that exist today
I saw #TOTP was trending but apparently it has nothing to do with Time-based One Time Passwords

@jwz@mastodon.social JavaScript was a mistake.
But man progressive JPEG and Netscape Mail & News were life changing!

@jwz@mastodon.social I think they're there for the short term gains. Long term it seems like a losing proposition. I hope states that are considering tax breaks and concessions are taking that into account.

@joe@f.duriansoftware.com I remember some PHPBB-type message board that worked very similarly - you signed each post with your GPG key. Never needing to create an account or anything like that. It was also tied into some service that shows who had marked your key as trusted.
