🎵Pink Floyd, "Meddle" #NowPlaying #Music
Inspired by "Fearless" playing at the pub during @Xcoders@mastodon.social social last night. Deep cut!

Maps should have Day and Night Walking Routes. Sure, it’s only Portland, but I’m not taking some of the side routes or park paths recommended at night—and I’m a not-small confident male.
🎵SML, "Small Medium Large" #NowPlaying #Music
(Another great way to start the day is weighing less than I have in over 5 years 👍)
First filet mignon I’ve cooked myself, and on the grill, has turned out pretty damn well I must say. 😋

Looks like I’m a Roon user now, and it’s all @octothorpe@mastodon.online’s fault. https://roon.app/
Major congrats to @glennf@zeppelin.flights on his well-deserved Eisner nomination for “How Comics Are [sic] Made” 🥳
🎵 These are days you'll remember
When May is rushing over you with desire
To be part of the miracles you see in every hour
You'll know it's true
That you are blessed and lucky
It's true that you are touched by something
That will grow and bloom in you
These are days

Great way start a cold and windy day.

🎵 David Gilmour, “David Gilmour” #NowPlaying #Music
🎵 Standing firm on this stony ground
The wind blows hard, pulls these clothes around
I harbour all the same worries as most
The temptations to leave or to give up the ghost
I wrestle with an outlook on life
That shifts between darkness and shadowy light
I struggle with words for fear that they'll hear
But Orpheus sleeps on his back, still dead to the world

Rush x Strong Bad: "A Modern Day Fhqwhgads" ("Tom Sawyer" vs. "Everybody To The LImit")
My stupid newly-replaced CGM is screaming at me that my blood sugar is dangerously low and I’m trying to decide between “you are so far off, you stupid thing” and “you’re right, I should have a big bowl of ice cream.”
You'd think a band consisting of Stewart Copeland, Adrian Belew, Mark King, and then Vittorio Cosma would be something I'd have heard about back in 2017 when it happened but apparently not. 😟

@octothorpe@mastodon.online @TheBreadmonkey@beige.party Definitely not, but now I want to open a coffee shop named “Wink & Drank”.
Brain was not firing during today’s #Wordle and my 5th guess slipped through the cracks and imperiled my 180-day streak (did get it in 6). But hey, at least WordleBot tried to flatter me?
This is a really good article on Skerik. I could be grumpy about barely mentioning Sadhappy, but he *has* been almost constantly busy doing other things in the last 30 years. https://daily.bandcamp.com/side-door/the-side-door-jam-band-skerik

@chockenberry @rmondello Happy with one of these, too, though I did not expect an app and firmware updates for a charger.

@cocoafrog@hachyderm.io @mikeymikey@hachyderm.io Similar, but not a quote: I have had managers claim bug fixes are “charged” to the original ticket since they were assumed bug-free, so any needed fix is not charged to your current sprint’s workload. (Devs just expected to shoehorn it in)

What happened to the “app only” text size widget option on my iPhone, and why are there so many options on my iPad? These are both running 27.0.
