@jsadow@c18.masto.host I should have said "writers". Here's some background: https://knowyourmeme.com/sensitive/memes/the-writers-barely-disguised-fetish We see this a lot on #monsterdon.

Has anyone made the "director's fetish" comment yet? #monsterdon

What in tarnation?!? #monsterdon #TheDunwichHorror1970

#Movie fans, I just got around to watching Signs by director, M. Night Shyamalan. I know, only 24 years late. I actually liked it a LOT, so now I am scratching my head over the bad reviews it's gotten over the years. It was those reviews and things I saw online that made me think I wouldn't enjoy it all these years. I think it deserves better than "mixed or average reviews", eh. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signs_(film)#Critical_response Did you like Signs? Should we watch it for a #monsterdon night someday? #films #movies #shyamalan

Seeing Wolfen should be fun. I *think* I saw it back in the 80s but not really sure now... #monsterdon #Wolfen1981

I want to nominate this YT /IRL phenomenon, which I just discovered, for some kind of #monsterdon collab thing. Seems very much in our wheelhouse. 🤼‍♀️ Kaiju Wrestling 🤼‍♀️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsvaQLP6XM4

Tempest is a great game. Great start! #monsterdon #nightofthecomet1984

I finally got around to watching Matrix Revolutions after twenty-some years and... I liked it. I liked it way more than Reloaded (Matrix 2, if you will) and more than I expected to. The story was solid, even though like many movies, there are plot holes. I got over Keanu's lack of acting pretty quickly and appreciated the rest of the cast. The effects were great and they didn't over use the CGI copy-and-paste too much, except for the Sentinels, but having thousands of those flying around is baked into the story, eh. I was engaged all the way through and so yeah, thumbs up! 👍 #monsterdon and #actionmatinee - what do you think of this 2003 flick?

I gotta run but thanks 'yall, great #monsterdon ing with you all. Thanks @Taweret@timeloop.cafe for a great movie. Thanks Miru for the stream. ( I gotta find your real handle...)

Dammit, we're finally going to see a monster in the last 30 seconds again, aren't we? #monsterdon #TheDunwichHorror1970

According to someone on Rotten Tomatoes, tonight's #monsterdon movie, Zarkorr the Invader (1996) is, "... a man in a giant rubber suit crashing around an obviously miniature city. Absolutely hilarious its so bad." They had me at giant rubber suit. 😊

I wonder what the Tomb is doing? #monsterdon
