Replying to

@jalefkowit@hachyderm.io I'm going to theorize its a hash collision. Original contract uploaded, file renamed to some random hash. Years later, testing an upload with the book of enoch, file gets same hash and overwrites old contract.

Pleasantly surprised to see this is a #PHP project. Maybe worth an article in @phparch@phparch.social ?

ugh, hate that our Vet uses a mobile app for any questions or to look up records. It was quicker to call and ask for them to email the vax records for our dogs. I'd rather not sit through installing an app and creating an account for something I might do every 6 months. Also, fully expect them to move to another customer portal for Vets thing in the next 6 months anyway.

Replying to

@ramsey@phpc.social i appreciate that you thought of how/if the WGs interact with the foundation. So, are the WGs are for operational work to keep things running? If someone proposes a WG that competes with a foundation effort, are you assuming that the RFC+voting process to charter one would bring up that discussion?

Replying to

@syntaxseed@phpc.social well, that's originally why the 1994 World Cup was awarded to the USA, contingent on starting a first-division pro league/MLS that now includes 3 Canadian teams. This year's edition introduces changes to reduce time wasting. I think video review also disincentivizes diving in the hopes of drawing fouls Some recent surveys have #soccer pretty high up in popularity. Many, but not all, of these fans are likely following teams abroad, not just local sides.

Soccer reportedly overtakes baseball in the U.S. as America's third favorite sport

Soccer's rise in the United States took another step forward as the sport is reportedly now the third most popular sport in the country. According to a recent survey by The Economist, the sport has now surpassed baseball among Americans' favorite sports, ranking behind only American football and basketball. It's a milestone driven in part by the sustained growth of Major League Soccer.
