Taking a shelter dog out for a skip day is (1) enormous fun (2) absolutely free (3) a great way to get your steps (4) a wonderful gift to a blameless sentient creature that is spending its life in a prison cell for the crime of existing.

Maeve does not play well with other dogs. This is not her fault—this is something that was done to her—but it will make her tricky to adopt. If you cannot give her a home, you can take her out for a couple hours that she will otherwise spend alone locked in a small cell. She will love you for this.
