iroh

We managed to squeeze iroh onto an esp32: https://www.iroh.computer/blog/iroh-on-esp32
Compromises were made, lots of stuff hacked together. But we'll slowly work towards getting this better supported out of the box.

iroh 0.97 is released! The road along the QUIC multipath world continues, though more still to come there. Also a bunch of other cool things on the way to 1.0: https://www.iroh.computer/blog/iroh-0-97-0-custom-transports-and-noq

iroh will be at #39c3! Come find us^Wme at https://39c3.c3nav.de/l/iroh/@0,194.8,117.16,6

Though it'll be just me who's there. So if you don't find me best to give me a ping on mastodon at @flub@mastodon.social if you'd like to chat. As I will not be there all the time.

If you've moved to the multipath releases you'll be delighted v0.98 is released with many fixes!

We're improving things further. The next release should get the last set of changes and improvements on the multipath holepunching and then we're at 1.0-rc time!

There will also be an iroh #p2p workshop at #39c3. Not yet sure when that'll be, it should show up at https://events.ccc.de/congress/2025/hub/en/assembly/detail/cdc/ sometime I think.

Going to #fosdem next weekend? A few of our team members will be there, reach out if you'd like to have a chat!

Today at 12:30 at #39c3 there's the #iroh #p2p workshop: https://events.ccc.de/congress/2025/hub/en/event/detail/iroh-p2p-chat-over-gossip

We're now here! come and say hello! Chat about iroh, p2p, QUIC, holepunching, networking etc. Or meet our neighbour assemblies!

Did you know the #iroh blog has an #rrs feed for all our #p2p adventures? You might want to subscribe because yours truly does not keep up with being a manual RSS feed. Blogs missed so far include at least:
- How to reject incoming packets in QUIC: https://www.iroh.computer/blog/quic-packet-rejection
- iroh & #MoQ on a security camera: https://www.iroh.computer/blog/secure-video-everywhere

@superblox@mastodon.social Yes, we love for folks to build those things!

Don't have an hello-world android project unfortunately, we usually point to @delta@chaos.social as an example that uses iroh on android. Perhaps you want to create a hello-world android project yourself?
