There is a fake C++ conference website wanting your credit card data. The location of the event is for now Berlin in June, but could change again. Its been Japan last year. Tickets are 30 - 50 €, the program does not contain any known speakers. I'm not going to link to it. I thought I let you know.
I've reached out to the listed sponsors I have contacts for.

Freestanding standard library

In some earlier articles, we used the term freestanding. We said that a freestanding implementation is one that operates without the support of a hosted operating system. Think embedded systems, OS kernels, or bare-metal environments where heap allocation, system calls, and exception support are typically unavailable. The C++ standard defines a minimal subset of the language and library that must work in such constrained environments. But I wanted to go slightly deeper, because the term doesn’t

Episode 405 : CppCast

Daniel Nikpayuk joins Jason to talk about ccTMP, his C++17 template metaprogramming library that builds a functional type system at compile time by encoding bytecode as template parameters in continuation-passing style — letting the C++ compiler itself optimise away the interpretation layer. They also cover Daniel's path into C++, from typesetting Inuktitut in LaTeX to his longer-term goal of a multimedia programming language for Indigenous storytelling.

C++26: Structured Bindings can introduce a Pack

Last week, we talked about how C++26 improves structured bindings by allowing them to be used in conditionals’ init statements. We also briefly touched on other improvements coming in C++26, such as individual binding annotations and constexpr bindings. There is, however, one important enhancement to structured bindings that we haven’t covered yet on this blog: Structured Bindings can introduce a Pack This is not the only improvement C++26 brings to parameter packs either — I already wrote about
