Giorgio Moroder basically inventing the sound of the 1980s with a disco beat. #TOTP
Ooh ooh I wonder if this is the #TOTP episode where she's shown as SLADE in the chart rundown.

@leobrxd@mastodon.social If you're not in the UK you might need to find a British-based VPN that isn't blocked by the BBC. Then you can watch it on iPlayer. #TOTP
Pervy upskirt cameraman is really going for it with the one in the pink miniskirt. #TOTP
The cat has now jumped down off my lap and stalked off into the kitchen, tail swishing. I assume it's a commentary on this episode of #TOTP.

Chris Evans isn't going to leave Channel 4 to come and work for the BBC no matter how much you play Billie's song.
Well, he will eventually. But not on the telly. #TOTP

@Kimberley@ecoevo.social Not unusual for early-to-mid 80s Pops. They used to give them out to the audience on arrival, along with party poppers, streamers, flags and balloons. #TOTP

@captainarcee@retrochat.online "Top of the Pops". It was a very long-running weekly pop chart music TV show in the UK. It stopped transmitting in 2006 but every Friday night in Britain, the BBC repeat a few episodes. It has a small but very noisy following (sorry!) on social media.
