Logan Fick

Thank you every at #fossy and #fedicon. I have never been to a conference like this before and had an absolute blast. Met so many nice and awesome people, far too many to list and count. Hope to make next year!

@cR0w@infosec.exchange @kajer@infosec.exchange @agowa338@chaos.social @catsalad@infosec.exchange Oh my god... I didn't even think about HDR ads. There's nothing on the client, at least in the Apple ecosystem, that I know of, that let's you say "don't display HDR content in HDR"... You can just use that shit wherever.

@agowa338@chaos.social @kajer@infosec.exchange @bakachu@infosec.exchange @cR0w@infosec.exchange @catsalad@infosec.exchange I always thought it was silly when I would scroll a website and see an HDR image just stick out like a sore thumb, but I never thought much beyond “silly”. Now I realize, beyond even this LinkedIn fuckery, that this can be used maliciously and it definitely wasn’t thought out well. Heck I’d be happy if there was a hint of some kind to long press an image to preview it in HDR or something. Idk. This is just silly, this whole thing.

Is it just me or are Tums some of the most vile and disgusting tasting things in existence?

I love live demos during Fedicon. I can just shitpost in real time.

@julian @cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family Ah, I know the answer to this one! Dark themes are superior. I hope that helps. 👍

@cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family @evan@cosocial.ca I saw that! I had the tab opened and then after lunch refreshed it to see it magically had dark theme. Great improvement!

@baer@mastodon.social HELLO INTERNET

I love #writefreely officially.

Eeieuuuggghhh

WHAT IS UP YOU ABSOLUTE LEGENDS????

Have I “made it”?

@julian @johannab@cosocial.ca @ozoned Yup! We are expecting some higher quality camera footage, so we’ll get it published once we have all the raw footage together.

@sophieschmieg@infosec.exchange A 20% increase in a 50% chance is 70%. I’ll take my publisher money now.

@gnilleps@mastodon.art @ozoned On firesidefedi.live? I apologize for any issues… really janky setup today and the UBC AV team is not working this weekend…

@dansup@mastodon.social @matt@writing.exchange I just hit things with a hammer until it works (or it doesn’t).
