"Recharge" (2026)

“Recharge” (2026) - An attempt to create a splash art illustration featuring the legendary Kiki the Cyber Squirel, the official mascot of Krita. Eventually, I decided to turn it into a larger package, including a big “making of” tutorial, a brush bundle etc. (with the intention of gifting it to the Krita Project.) The last slide shows a mockup of the loading window. More info:

I made this painting because I loved Silksong. Played many hours last year, but could not get around to actually painting her until now. Here she is playing her Needolin at Bellhome.

Askevold's Norwegian Fjord study

(Updated image) Today I have finished my copy (is it the right way of saying that?) of Norwegian Fjord Landscape painting by A. Askevold. It’s an amazing piece of art and I felt great while painting it. No colour sampling were done in any way and I am pretty proud about it! Most of the work was done with oil brushes by @emilm It took me about 35 hours from start to finish. I know there are a lot of stuff that can be done better but I’m already a little tired with it. Hope you like it!

The most beautiful colors are usually hidden from prying eyes in unexpected places. In a current project I am trying to bring surrealism to life, with a blooming imagination in an underground world, and this is one of the latest works of that. c: An attempt with a distorted perspective and a bright foreground in contrast to the monotonous and dark blue cave wall in the background.

Resilience Amidst the Chaos - Valquer Jose

Resilience Amidst the Chaos A 4-hour Study on Atmosphere and Survival Hi everyone, I’d like to share a recent piece I finished in about 4 hours. This painting was a focused exercise in capturing dramatic lighting and the raw power of nature. The piece explores the thin line between destruction and hope. I wanted to contrast the skeletal, dark silhouette of a wrecked ship against the violent, organic movement of the waves. The light source on the left serves as a narrative anchor, a sugges...

Digital Collage Artist Using Krita

Hello! I know this is sort of a strange juxtaposition with everything else here, but I’ve been using Krita for a few months now and just wanted to share some of my work. I go by Deleted Designs, and I’ve been doing digital collage for more than five years now. While I used to use Photoshop, some issues I’ve had with Adobe as a whole led me to look for alternatives and Krita has been absolutely incredible for the kind of art that I do. I’m especially fond of flowers and vintage advertising, tho
