Half of the ideas about cool tech stuff that I've had in my head, I have not executed EXACTLY because of this, and it's pleasing to see that it is being actively talked about more! :)
@pitha@pitha.social is one of the projects that I am finding immense satisfaction in working with, since I am protecting not only mine, but everyone else's privacy too

@omarzeyada18@mas.to hello omar! It's very nice to have you in the Fediverse, and yes, here your posts are more upto actual people seeing you, than an algorithm artificially controlling how much you get seen by other people.
It's a more human way of social media, and much less addicitive than the mainstream platforms there are available! :)

@Willow since you're a mom and you won't have time to learn or do all of this all day, i will still suggest to go for a hosted option to save you a lot of the hassle. you can also customise the ui and control the federation accordingly if you want, and honestly, that's a better use of your time than the sysadmin stuff (which you will have to do eventually if you wanna go full pro mode)

I like how in #LinkedIn the English speaking world is all ramped up about AI, productivity, events, seminars, life lessons, and how they are building the next big thing..
