Anyway, I do most of my maintenance myself but every 18 months I take my bike to the LBS for new cables (for that precise reason) and a deeper clean. @jdarais@sfba.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social #BikeNite

In shops mostly but for gardens I am not sure. A fully functional bike used as prop is what I call a “sad bike”. They want to be ridden in the wild. (The case of the white / ghost bikes is special but they are also very sad) #bikeNite
