@EUCommission How about lack of updates forcing people to upgrade phones. Many banking apps now require at least Android 11, my phone is _fine_ but lower than that. More-over i have an older phone than that yet, which has LineageOS on it, and that is 11.(i.e. it's good for that) You might want to have someone in your family try that. But really phones need to be technically easier to maintain for the developers. It's just computers, they could be running the same OS-ses...

@ripper@chaos.social leaves down might look correct, but consider the number of adaptations needed. For one there would have to be a method of orienting itself upside down. But also the structure of the nested cylinders breaks open at the top, whereas at the bottom they are nicely nested, which probably works a lot better for a solid fuel rocket! It's not like those floppy leaves will nicely cradle the flame, there too, the roots are more suitable for this adaptation.

FBI Launched Probe of New York Times Reporter Following Unflattering Coverage of Kash Patel

According to The New York Times, FBI agents interviewed the girlfriend, queried databases for information on Williamson and recommended moving forward to determine whether she had broken federal s

María Corina Machado Gives Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump

Here in the U.S., right-wing Venezuelan opposition figure María Corina Machado met with President Trump at the White House Thursday, where Machado said she gave her Nobel Peace Prize to Trump. The pair posed for a photo in the Oval Office, with Trump smiling as he displayed the medal in a large golden frame. Trump called the transfer “a wonderful gesture of mutual respect.” In response, the Nobel Peace Center wrote on social media, “A medal can change owners, but the title of a Nobel Peace Prize
