Best practice is to distance by at least forty paces to ensure that the gayness is managed, eating outside by oneself in the rain or snow if necessary, or in your car, alone, with the air conditioning off.
As for sandwiches, God did not intend for the meat to lie with cheese between blankets of bread together: remain vigilant.
