@rail @bentsukun @maartje It is bullshit. Why do they need to know *who* is travelling? They only need to know that the person travelling has a valid ticket to travel. Who they are (beyond defining characteristics for particular classes of tickets; child, pensioner, etc.) is irrelevant.

Competitors as individuals, or pairs, compete to travel from A to B as quickly as possible using only scheduled services, possibly incorporating fixed waypoints.
