Went kayaking by my favorite mountain today
6km total, 2 hours rowing. I’m expecting to not be able to use my arms tomorrow 😅
Expedition 33 has probably the best turn-based combat system I’ve ever played, dang.
It’s so satisfying and fast, doesn’t even feel turn-based sometimes
Siri in iOS 27 started being really annoying in that, whenever I ask for a reminder, it would reply with "did you mean X or Y?" every time.
Today, instead of doing that, it simply created 5 reminders with different variations of the sentence I said, instead of 1. None of the 5 had the correct word.
Not to mention the "remind me to do X tomorrow morning" often adds "tomorrow morning" as the title of the reminder, not the date.
I find it funny that there's a specific genre of Brazilian music that's made to play outside of Brazil
People over here always play those songs and as a Brazilian I've never heard them in my life. I've heard "Samba do Brasil" for the first time ever a month ago and apparently that's *the* Brazilian song over here

@Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net it's a really cool feature, I wrote about a neat use case for it as well: https://fantinel.dev/blog/vivaldi-follower-tabs

@usuario@instancia.org eu frequento algumas comunidades de imigrantes (pq sou um) e é bem comum o uso desse termo mesmo. Até pra se diferenciar dos "outros" imigrantes (leia-se não brancos)

@nileane@nileane.fr if they can put up with Windows, they can put up with crappy trackpads
iPhanpy v1.5.6 is out now on the App Store with support for Collections!
The AltStore update is being held back a bit due to some technical problems, but will be up as soon as possible
I got Apollo for Reddit working again and it’s so good 🤌
Just learned that one of my favorite restaurants back home closed and why is life so sad?

Some CSS patterns just click. This one uses rems, ems and a lobotomized owl selector for ultimate elegance.

This WC has had some atrocious refs so far.

@nileane@nileane.fr I don't know I was just trash talking Windows 😭
I think people who haven't used a Macbook don't really know their trackpads suck. I had a Dell XPS with Linux before and thought it was pretty good, thinking "no way this can be any better"

@Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net not really... as a dev, names aren't my forte. How about "foobar2026"?
It’s been over 2 years since I played Disco Elysium and I still can’t listen to any part of its soundtrack without tearing up immediately. La Revacholiere just breaks me immediately.
I think it’s just my favorite piece of art ever. It’s so good. If you haven’t played it, you totally should (but please pirate it)

I finally gathered the willpower to play Baldur’s Gate 3 again and finally finish Act 2, which is where I stopped last time when I got pissed off at all the bugs.
I kinda hate playing it (it feels like it’s gonna break at any moment and the console controls suck), but damn the story and characters are awesome
Gonna watch Devil Wears Prada 2 in Milan tomorrow!

@nileane@nileane.fr my wife says that the usual “girl stuff” is generally awful, painful and uncomfortable but nobody talks about it because as a woman you’re just expected to take it. Whereas men act like they’re dying when they have the slightest hint of discomfort (I’m guilty of that 😬)

@nileane@nileane.fr @matt_birchler@mastodon.social you should watch the Libertadores matches those players usually play. They took it real easy in the WC!
This is definitely not the type of video I usually watch but there's just something satisfying about watching all the videos detailing Pirate Software's downfall

Cool Link: OverpAId — Fire Your CEO. Hire The Future.
OverpAId is not coming for the people who do the actual work. It is coming, with extreme prejudice, for exactly one category of job: the one that spent the last forty years insisting everyone else’s job was replaceable.
This is fantastic.
