@AndresFreundTec And a lot of persistence! Reminds me of one of the classics of the industry, Cliff Stoll's Cuckoo's Egg - "Stoll traced the error to an unauthorized user who had apparently used nine seconds of computer time and not paid for it" leading to a german hacker selling content to the KGB - 38 years ago. It is impressive (but uncommon) to see someone paying that level of attention to anomalies these days, with how thick tech stacks have gotten...

@jik@federate.social I had a membership for a while, and while many trustees properties are beautiful and well groomed - other than a few that are specifically "dog run" type places, I've never found a crowded one. (Plus I keep finding evidence that the state is basically empty outside 495 :-)

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@BleepingComputer/116535684569314774

oh right, it's not that malware gangs can't spell, the vendor of Canvas is actually called "Instructure"

Infosec Exchange

BleepingComputer (@BleepingComputer@infosec.exchange)

The ShinyHunters extortion gang has breached education technology giant Instructure again, this time exploiting another vulnerability to deface Canvas login portals for hundreds of colleges and universities. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/canvas-login-portals-hacked-in-mass-shinyhunters-extortion-campaign/

One of the highlights was a sandpiper - possibly a solitary? Merlin is dubious but we're in the right place for it to be migrating, maybe. https://www.flickr.com/photos/eichin/55276573093/ (the other pics and videos are the same individual.)

https://www.flickr.com/photos/eichin/55267409757/ Didn't see any of the usual cormorants or herons (or *any* waterbirds, which is odd for the Quabbin, though I'm usually not there in spring time, it's more of a summer thing)

Didn't find the towhee that Merlin was reporting but did catch this chipping sparrow flying in and out of the same tree. (Both are noisy but even to my ear they're distinct.)

Apparently it was originally preserved because it was stone, and then later restored with concrete - it kind of has a vaguely "viking church" feel, despite it being 100ish years old and not 1000ish, maybe because of the general roughness. Nice gardens around it; very scenic, though currently it's on a "closed" road and you have to walk a bit to get here. (I checked, the road is supposed to reopen in a couple of weeks - it's a railroad bridge raising, but unlike the famous truck-eating bridges,
