mastodon 4.7.3Way too long to write here :) I've lived a couple of lives that have led me to become a CTO and a farmer on a quinta.
I'm here for the tech and science community and for kind people with interesting minds. Resist fascism!

Profile picture is a portrait with a filter that makes it look like drawn with markers. I have a beard and I sit in a chair.
Background shows mountains and some branches of an Olive tree. It's sunset and the light rays gives it a mystic touch.

@bignose@fosstodon.org that is only true if you do your own server side tracking. If you send the data to Google for doing this you need the banner. Google analytics is a third party and non essential.

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social That this is the best social media post I have seen today says a lot.

@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange How about just regulating that browsers only may store essential cookies as a default setting? It was and is a total mistake to let a regular user decide on this.

You should go and try pydantic logfire from @samuelcolvin@fosstodon.org right now. It is amazing!

@kims@mas.to 'those two countries' - good lord. The US administration is so embarassing dumb. I miss the days where people would have instantly questioned the competence of an administration that thinks the EU is one country.

@davidtheeviloverlord@mastodon.social @LiamGilmartin@mastodon.ie @paddyduke@mastodon.social I might be too deep in my tech bubble but I am not sure if your question is not ironic.
Anyway, JavaScript is the most used programming language right now.
It is not malicious or anything uncommon on a web page. It also runs backends and is no longer restricted to be used only in web browsers.

@DiogoConstantino @ColmDonoghue @Ductos @mattwilcox Same for holiday rentals or airbnbs and alike - not allowed for permanent residence. Also, if you have just a small cabin in the woods or in a garden - not allowed...the list goes on :)

@ColmDonoghue @Ductos @mattwilcox This could be solved with nation wide IDs, but it seems there are different approaches between the states and there was/is an issue with native americans, without 'official' addresses.

@davidism You might want to state this in the guidelines? I think it would clarify who should contribute how. Right now, it is formulated very open but times have changed. Flask is very popular and people are eager to have contributions for gaining trust and you burn out under LLM PRs. At least probably worth a try.

@davidism Sure, it would still look better on the rejected PRs to be able to just point to the guidelines. I am concerned about the mental load on maintainers and at this rate the whole concept might be in question. A human can't keep up with 100s of machines producing output to review, on the long run.

@jwildeboer@social.wildeboer.net Hm, I run against the windmills for at least a decade to not use 'AI' as a term for ML. To me generative transformers are just one design of layers in the field of ML. So, LLMs are clearly ML and neither is intelligent. But I accepted that with this level of anthropomorphization I died on this hill. The term AI is set in stone now.
