I liked this at the time. Much better than the "...my hat" song #totp Funky bass & orchestra stabs!

Evening pop tarts! I was avoiding the 2000s #totp eps, but Belle & Sebastian just popped up unexpectedly, so here I am 🤗

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!! ❤️❤️ #totp

🚨 Banger alert!! #totp

I don't even like XTC and this is excellent. Andy Patridge really not looking like Andy Partridge here #totp

TBF, this is light years ahead of anything else that was on tonight #totp

Just think how much better the 70's & 80's episodes are gonna seem after an hour of this rubbish... #totp

Somebody tell us what that amazing-looking 12-string is #totp

Evening #totp! Tonight's difficulty level: Toploader

Evening #totp fam! Joining from an airport while I wait for a delayed flight. Will the 2000s episodes improve my mood? I may regret this... 😝

Nice to see Bananarama have finally learned to mime #totp

Did I hallucinate it, or is there a pre-fame video somewhere of #totp #PetShopBoys doing West End Girls with a *completely* different image in Depeche Mode-style leather jackets & stuff? I'm sure I've seen it, but it's not on YouTube 🤷‍♂️

Now that I think about it, incredible that the audio and video sync was *perfect*. They must have done the split at the transmitter, yes? Ah, the joy of analogue! None of yer crappy digital latency back in my day,! #totp

Verdict from Mrs Clanger: Zzzzzzzzzz #totp

Eel or snake? I need to know #totp

@jennyblenny@c.im same. I saw then do this at Glastonbury in th epissing rain. It was _underwhelming_ #totp

@jess@blop.social nuts, isn't it? I had an old 3TB die the other day. Popped onto Amazon: 😱

"Tarzan Boy with Baltimora" 🙄 #totp

Doe we have an accordion klaxon anywhere? #totp

@jess@blop.social from that lighting, I'm guessing the local hospital? #totp

@jess@blop.social that sounds so horrific, I am NOT going to check it out 😱 #totp

I don't remember this track, and it is *incredible*. The sound of the future, right there #totp

Play Wee Papa Girl Rappers, you $^&! #totp

This guy #totp

Graham Bonnet's vox are top notch here 👌 #totp

I never noticed how fantastic George's vox are on this #totp

What are the synths & drum machine on this? It still sounds ace #totp

It's like a Reform party fundraiser 😛 #totp

Bass line in this is just *glorious* #totp

G'night fam! The 80s definitely saved us tonight ❤️ #totp

This is a glorious pop tune #totp

AAAAAGGHHHHHHH!!! #totp Oh. It's different one. 🤷‍♂️

Britney's not much of a dancer, is she? She looks knackered 😥 #totp

Well, things are looking up 'cos my plane is finally here. Hang on tight peeps, see you on the other side 🤘 #totp

I dunno. I turned up to work. No-one got lost or killed. Will that do? #totp

Where's the ball, Flick? #totp

Nope. Zero recollection #totp

Ah, recorded on #totp PotatoVision

Ye gods, *another* banger! #totp

Right, 1970s: do your thing! #totp

T'pau were the first band i saw live #funfact #totp

🚨 Bouncy microphone klaxon! #totp

w00t! 70s ep, lets go 🕺 #totp

I know it's probably sexist to say this, but here's yer "Sex Bomb" right there, Tom. #totp

I think Flick Colby would approve of this video #totp

Hmm. I remember UK Garage being better than this 🤷‍♂️ #totp

Well, that was a most variable #totp evening. Having all the bangers in one episode was intense. Thanks for the love & snark as always; until next time, pop people! ❤️

Cheer up pet! Your hat's lovely #totp
