Welp. I fucked up real good. Out boating in our new 13' Whaler. Good day overall. Then my retarded ass gets out of the boat w/o my water shoes on at the ramp. At quarter low tide. Instantly slips & falls in water. 'Tis ok, just fell sideways & got wet. Does not put on water shoes. Gets truck & backs trailer in to retrieve boat. Gets out. Gets to back of truck, hanging on to the bed, and slips (duh). Falls into the side of the truck. Ribs under left arm are the 'cushion' as the whole weight of my body plus inertia slams into the bottom of the bed. Ow. Now hanging on for absolute dear life to the tailgate as I one-handedly try to crank the boat up on the trailer. Didn't notice It landed on the pads askew. Had to back it back in & get down there again to even it up. Now picking up anything on my left side is a new sensation of pain I hadn't experienced yet in life.
At my age, I'm hoping I didn't just fuck up worse than just a few weeks of discomfort.
