A ★★★★ review of Salem's Lot (1979)

I still can't believe this was a TV movie. I split this up into two nights, as it orginally aired, and i'm happy I did. Dare I say the best vampire movie i've ever seen? Barlow the fentanyl fiend will forever haunt my dreams, and those creepy kids at the windows are pure birth control. Tobe Hooper is my homeboy.

A ★★ review of Alien³ (1992)

-The Assembly Cut- I'd like to preface this by acknowledging my love of Fincher, alien franchise, and my LOVE of the 90's. This movie is pretentious edgy bullshit. There is no incentive to like any character in this movie, and as you find out later, no reason or possibility for Ripley to survive. The added character arc of Golic reminded me of that kid in elementary school who smelled bad, made robot sounds, and for whatever reason thought he had a shot with the prettiest girl in class.
