@starlily@mastodon.social @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net I understand their position, but what I'm saying is that without the ability to reproduce an exact replica of the compiled binary, we can't know for sure what else might have been inserted into the final program before its released to the public.

Is the implication that fixing 80% of the problem is worse than using Chrome or Edge? Wild "logic".
