How do you look when there's nothing left to move? Legendary dancer, artist and filmmaker Yvonne Rainer on the passing of time, the transferability of dance, training as legacy and the body's filmic decay. Inspiring thoughts on tenacity, physicality, and a career that refuses to stay in one discipline. https://rwm.macba.cat/en/podcasts/sonia-259-yvonne-rainer-2/ #YvonneRainer #choreography #dance #podcast

📻 Kristin Ross on the power of subjectivity in addressing history, on oral memory and first-person accounts. The subversive potential of today's environmental struggles, from the ZAD to NoTAV, as forms of activism that generate a new ecological, social and political intelligence. The associative, cooperative spirit of the Paris Commune. Solidarity as a political strategy. https://rwm.macba.cat/en/podcasts/sonia-276-kristin-ross-2/ #KristinRoss #ParisCommune #Solidarity #podcast #histor...

New #podcast :underheart: Preservation ≠ caring. DDT makes museum objects immortal, and toxic: colonial violence persisting as matter, in the vitrine and in the land. Korean artist Aram Lee reflects on poisoned lands, externalised memories and restitution, and on the worms, microbes and soil that bear witness where institutions forget. 🎧 https://rwm.macba.cat/en/podcasts/sonia-469-aram-lee/ #museums #museology #archive

Have we been running insecure software since the arrival of AI? I do about a monthly update of my Debian machines. Today I did the usual monthly update and noticed loads of packages uploading from the “security” branch. I’ve had the impression (just an impression) that more and more packages are being updated from security over the past many months. Trixie has been out for a while now and I would have thought that less and less updates should be coming from security. Has anyone had this sensati...

USA: "1.5 million cartons of eggs have been recalled for Salmonella" The CDC is investigating a salmonella outbreak tied to a Texas egg producer, causing 98 illnesses and 26 hospitalisations across 17 states. A recall has been issued, but officials warn affected eggs may still be sitting in consumers' fridges. Source: https://www.nbcnews.com/select/shopping/salmonella-eggs-recall-august-2026-rcna591058

So, with the MAGAts rolling back FinCEN reporting so they can freely launder money and hide their boundless corruption, how does this affect the ROAD Act? Institutional investors may own no more than 350 single family homes? Sounds good, right? Well, with the ownership of those institutions deleted, en masse with no reporting requirements left for new institutions popping up for nefarious purposes... What keeps the same companies buying up all the houses now to either jack up the prices or k...

I hope to see Pine64 devices come back, soon. Sadly I don't have $400 to spare to drop on a PineNote so I'll need to cross my fingers they don't just disappear forever thanks to the slopbot bubble.

Hot to configure Vercel Security Checkpoint! Don't. FFS, Anubis causes problems on occasion, Cloudflare is a massive MitM attack on web traffic, but this Vercel dogshit doesn't even bloody well work. Seeing projects like Subvert, that I'd like to support, be unreachable because of their crappy automated "security" is sad... Especially when, like Google, once it fails out swearing I'm a bot because I'm not broadcasting my entire existe...

No matter how much good Amnesty has done over the years this is enough to forever taint their legacy. They are finished, or should be, and all for the desire to bow at the feet of Shelon the queen of poorly written derivative fantasy laced with bigotry and incompetent world building filled with more plot holes than the latest fan doujin dropped on WebToon. https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/amnesty-uk-reportedly-using-copyright Dump HBO, too, and every actor/actress, director, producer, spons...

You know, I had been lookung for ways to save a bit of space now that drives are so expensive... Thanks, Pink, for being a Zionist piece of shit. May not be much, in the grand scheme of things, but eight albums getting the old shift+delete does kick a few GB back to be used for more worthwhile things.

You know, Park Services used to be a respected agency like firefighters considered to be helpful and worth the investment... Used to be. https://www.wta.org/news/signpost/wta-statement-on-ice-arrest-of-family-members-camping-on-public-lands

Well, seems I can no longer use Google Voice for text confirmations from the places that don't offer proper TOTP support for 2FA. 2011-02-20 02:52:17 Z SERVICE_ADDED Google Voice Fifteen years since I got that number from then, and now I have to "Scan your Driver's License to prove you're an adult!" Yeah, not gonna happen, I'm pushin' 50 over here but I will *NEVER* comply with age verification. Even at the store they have to call a...

Is it just me who sees a LLM and suddenly wants to not do business with them? NewEgg, going to buy a SSD, they shove a bot in my face while I'm looking at a price five times higher than it was last year. What a slap in the face that is, no? Then I look at Proton, the 2TB storage for an "until the bubble bursts" backup, and they happily tell me when I buy the three services I want I get useless stuff like a cloud vault for my logins (if my password/passkey manager is n...

There will be no alt text because I can't think of a way to describe it without ruining it.

How is it that Google can't manage to offer *any* support because of their stupid pointless slopbot obsession? I finally got sick of them, cancelled every damn thing, and moved to Proton. I had an issue with Proton, contacted support, and here comes the bot, but... It takes the basic information, realizes the help I need is beyond what a bot is capable of doing, then creates a support ticket telling me a human representative will get back to h shortly. This should be MANDATORY behavi...

E-Autos wachsen, Verbrenner verlieren.

Öffentliches Laden muss so selbstverständlich...
