Is it just me who sees a LLM and suddenly wants to not do business with them? NewEgg, going to buy a SSD, they shove a bot in my face while I'm looking at a price five times higher than it was last year. What a slap in the face that is, no? Then I look at Proton, the 2TB storage for an "until the bubble bursts" backup, and they happily tell me when I buy the three services I want I get useless stuff like a cloud vault for my logins (if my password/passkey manager is not completely isolated offline I don't want it, thanks) and their own LLM, too!
