[qBittorrent-nox/webui] Any idea why it takes forever for the webUI to load over LAN? I have set the IP address to the actual address of the host instead of localhost so that I can reach it from my other devices at home. But every time I try to load xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080, loading takes forever. It does work though.

ICYMI: Andy Biggs wants to rewrite his January 6 record, but we shouldn't let him. The rally's lead organizer named him as a co-planner, a Trump White House aide testified he sought a pardon, and then he defied a subpoena to explain. #AZGov #AZpolitics

RE: https://social.edu.nl/@wlaatje/117318824600166362 Your unwarranted optimism about AI allows (powerful) people to get away with using AI in places where it shouldn’t be used. So many experts and others warned us that things like this could (would) happen. Be smart(er), listen to the experts and criticise AI and your own usage of AI instead of blindly believing what big tech/money wants you to believe.

Hier kommt Teil 3 eurer absurdesten Jobangebote. 👀👇

USPS To Put Cameras in Trucks That Scan Roads for ‘Community Safety’ [404 Media] USPS says the cameras, put on USPS truck dashboards, will scan roads, signs, and more. The United States Postal Service is running a pilot program to put cameras in its mail carrier trucks that continuously scan roads and signs, map roadways and sidewalks, and improve “community safety,” according to a letter posted by a labor union and a statement from the agency to 404 Media. The idea is that, since the trucks...

"Governments providing authorization for orbital solar reflectors should mandate full pre-launch ecological risk assessments; restrict operations in protected and eco-logically sensitive regions; and limit illumination duration, intensity, and coverage. Global institutions should establish international standards and long-term monitoring networks, and researchers should develop adaptive dimming and pointing systems to reduce unintended light spillover." https://www.science.org/doi/10....
