This song feels more and more relevant
Lyrics :
Gridlock traffic all the way to Mars
As far as the eye can see, bumper to bumper parked cars
It's easy now to get lost in the specifics
Like a street preacher preaching to anyone who'll listen
Take a step back
It's not a mirror, it's just glass
Catch your own reflection in every person that passes
Can you believe it now? Most of the news is all noise
A little bit of distortion, the rich playing with toys
[Chorus]
You gotta look at your reflection to see what's on TV
Automation actuating impending redundancy
Sink or swim? Neither, kid, better learn to surf
Bеcause there's no room lеft for humans on this Earth
Wear your hair wild, it'll look cooler in the pictures
Live it up now 'cause y'know you can't take it with ya
But take it easy, it's no use to stress
Just let the shadows grow longer until you lose your breath
You feel alone now? Just wait until you're older
And you're crossing out names inside your phone book
Sure, the robots won, it's all just novelty
Because nothing's more human than technology
[Chorus bis]
