LEGO 72051 Donkey Kong Arcade, a 1,367-piece cabinet that genuinely plays. Joysticks move Mario on X and Y axes while you feed barrels in from the top, mechanically simulating Miyamoto's 1981 original. Pauline stays unrescued, alas. 39cm tall. Out 1 August 2026, €169.99 / £149.99 / US$199.99. Downside: mostly stickers rather than printed elements! #LEGO #Nintendo #DonkeyKong #AFOL #RetroGaming

🦮 A 12-year-old in California built a working printer for blind readers out of a Lego robot kit for his school science fair, after finding that the machines sold for the job cost about $2,000; the parts in his version came to roughly $350 in shops A twelve-year-old just proved that assistive technology doesn't need to cost thousands when ingenuity and a Lego kit can do the job for under four hundred dollars. #Tech #AssistiveDevice #legohttps://scienceblog.com/m-a-12-year-old-in-california-built-a-working-printer-for-blind-readers-out-of-a-lego-robot-kit-for-his-school-science-fair-after-finding-that-the-machines-sold-for-the-job-cost-abou/

With the holiday in full swing, I finally had some time to work on my #LEGO #Batmobile. Got the cockpit done and the windshields on. Holy light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel, Batman!

Holy closure, Batman! Finally finished my 1966 #LEGO #Batmobile and I really love it. This is one of my all time favorite LEGO builds, really fascinating to see how it all comes together, especially all the trim and the super-complex front grill. The only downsides are the myriad of stickers. Holy shakey hands, Batman! I got some of them less than straight 😕 And it’s a tad fragile. Pick it up wrong and Batpieces are bound to come off. Looks fantastic on my desk tho, thanks again @Batzz@mastodon.social 🥰
