PARDON ?? #data #privacy #RGPD #GPDR #mail #email

Dear Friends who are kewl, Well I am not cool. Too infirm, feeble and decrepit, especially pre-breakfast... But in case you are a coolist: 1) I thought I had Thunderbird on my #Linux desktop. No. Wrong. Fail! 2) Instead I had #Deltachat AND LO and Behold. I managed (finally) to get it working [Sounds of #mad #heroic lobster gleeful yelping] 3) I even bypassed 'do know evil' Goo-gle and Apple (pronounced 'appal') sign in (which I don't have/use anymore) and... 4) ...Setup a new #email account in European Canada 🌈 Ye Gods and Elders of the Internet! I may still have a few olde leet nerdiness in me... ✅ https://delta.chat/en/ #Email #Linux #EasyOS #Messaging :anon: :catJAM: 💃

LOL the ISP I know here calls my email address over there a "babyname account" (thus, subject to spam). (it's ben@domainname) (first I have heard of "babyname"). Anyway, I guess, don't use common names as your email account name without modifiers. I declared email bankruptcy after 250,000 unread emails on an email address that is 25+ years old, just going to have to abandon it. #email
