@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social My favorite story is the coin recovered from the sunken confederate submarine Hunley. It was owned by the submarine's commander, a man named Dixon and saved his leg and possibly his life at the Battle of Shiloh. A lucky charm against bullets, but not against drowning.
